Colleen Weule has been in practice since 1976, with practice emphasis in the following areas: resolution of contract disputes, extra work and delay claims involving public and private works construction, design and construction defect litigation, litigation involving lien rights, stop notice claims, payment and performance bonds, business and professional licensing matters, business litigation and federal grant/procurement law.

In addition to private practice, Mrs. Weule was a staff attorney in Washington D.C. for the Urban Mass Transportation Administration (now the Federal Transportation Administration), during which time she represented the agency in contact disputes before the DOP Board of Contract Appeals, and assisted in the resolution of bid protests and procurement disputes.  She later served as Regional Counsel for the agency in Seattle for four years.  Mrs. Weule has taught numerous seminars on various topics, including mechanics lien law, copyright, risk management, design-build projects, and drafting elective use of contracts.  She has served as Judge Pro-Tem in the Orange County Superior Court, West Justice Center; and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Make a Wish Foundation of Orange County.  

Mrs. Weule received her law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1976 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1973.  She has been a licensed attorney in California since 1976;  in Arizona since 2000.  Mrs. Weule was admitted to the Untied States Supreme Court in 1983.
