Natalia D. Smith has dedicated her time to specializing in construction contract litigation, public works construction law, and surety law. She has participated in numerous mediations, arbitrations and trials. Her areas of practice also include appellate work, including extensive experience drafting appellate briefs. Additionally, Mrs. Smith has participated in and appeared for numerous bankruptcy cases. Mrs. Smith's practice also includes general federal litigation, real estate law, collections and general business litigation. Specifically, Mrs. Smith has prosecuted unlawful detainer cases in residential and commercial settings, represented individuals in non-disclosure real property cases, obtained writs of attachment, monitored asset levies for writs of execution, represented individuals and business entities in suits involving unfair business practices, fraud, non-competition issues, and other business related disputes.
Mrs. Smith is a member of the Engineering Contractors Association and the National Association of Women in Construction.
Mrs. Smith graduated from California Western School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2001. At California Western School of Law she was a Staff Editor for the California Western Law Review/International Law Journal from 1999-2001.
